FINANCIAL DIRECTORS CONFERENCE
Campbell Dallas recently held it's annual 2 day Financial Directors conference at the Old Course Hotel, St Andrews. Delegates included Financial Directors from companies across Scotland.
Delegates heard from guest speaker Jim McColl, Chairman and Chief Executive of Clyde Blowers, and John Beattie, rugby legend.
During the technical sessions delegates heard from Chris Lowry, Head of Corporate Finance at UHY, about the AIM market. From Campbell Dallas, Fraser Campbell, Peter Gallanagh and David Hunter, hosted a three part session on the Credit Crunch, each from a different perspective. Aileen Scott, Tax Partner, also delivered a presentation titled "Managing Tax through a Trading Downturn" which naturally captured the attention of the audience. Finally, Donald Boyd gave a presentation on outsourcing and Ross Bottomley, Director at Campbell Dallas Financial Services, presented on the introduction of a State pension.
