15.08.2008 BOARD DECIDES TO FOLD LEADERSHIP FOUNDATION
The board of the Scottish Leadership Foundation has decided to wind up the Alloa-based company.
The foundation is said to have found trading conditions extremely challenging in recent months, with the flow of new contracts slowing down and expected business not materialising.
It was founded in 2001 to enhance leadership development, principally in Scotland's public services.
The foundation said that, until the past finacial year, it had enjoyed successful trading with a turnover rising to more than £1 million and had employed 12 people.
Derek Forsyth, a partner in Campbell Dallas, has been appointed as provisional liquidator.
